      <image:caption>Hi, I’m Matt Bear. I am a NASM certified personal trainer, corrective exercise and sports nutrition specialist, and stretching and flexibility coach. My goal is to give people the guidance I wish I had getting started. It took me a few years to become even slightly competent in the gym. I had people giving me advice that I didn’t know was bad or dangerous. I didn’t know where to start! I have spent a lot of time learning in school and out of school about weight training, physiology, nutrition, and myself. I am always trying to learn more and expand my knowledge. What I hope to do for you is help you get farther faster. There isn’t a magic formula for instant results, but you may get there faster if you start productively. I made very little, if any progress my first year of training because I had no structure and no concept of proper form. That structure is what I want to give to you.</image:caption>
